During the Cold War build-up in the 1950s, military housing was upgraded from the hasty construction of World War II. In Idaho, at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Richard Neutra, an internationally-recognized architect, designed houses for the Senior Officers on the base. Arrow Rock Architects conducted feasibility studies for the three historically significant houses to adaptively reuse them.
